Us, live, at the picnic, like. The tune is called Eamonn and it’ll be on the new album

Story y’all
We’re uber satisfied to finally have the remix album of our eponymous debut album finished. It’s flippin brilliant, and it’s got 16 great mixes from some of Ireland’s finest producers such as Decal, Deep Burial, The Vinny Club, Ambulance, Prince Kong, amongst many others. We’re pleasantly surprised to tell you that it sounds absolutely nothing like the original album either! And now for the practicalities….
It will be released as a FREE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD from www.superextrabonusparty.com, and from our myspace in October.
We’ll also be showcasing this fine disc as part of a good ol’ fashioned super extra bonus PARTY in Andrew’s Lane Theatre on October 10th.
For a tenner you get:
- An 8 till late line-up comprising of us and 3 or 4 other live acts plus dj sets
- A free cd for the first 300 drunken revellers on the door
- A rare and ornate jewell-encrusted mesoamerican dildo
We gots some talented heads playin for the night and we’ll confirm this asap.
Besides this we’re sill working away on the 2nd album. We have a good lot written so far, and besides a track with Cadence Weapon, we hope to pull some more kerrazy kollabs out of the bag. Watch this space (in case it gets nicked by a male in his 20’s sporting an addidas tracksuit and baseball cap).
Laterzzzzzzzzzz
(SEBP at Razzmatazz, Barcelona)
Story everyone? It’s been a cool few months here at camp bonus. We’re mad busy writing and recording our second LP, and we’re dead excited about what we’ve got for you so far. We spent some time in a beautiful village called
(Above: Going insane in Ardmore)
We’ve been keeping it fairly quiet on the gig front while we’re recording, but we did manage to cram in one show a few weeks ago over in Barcelona at the Razzmatazz club, which was an entirely splendid buzz. Playing to 2000 hyper Catalonians at 3.30 in the morning, it was so fckn snazzy, and we can’t wait to go back there. Personally speaking, what delighted me most about the gig was that a circle of death formed while the crowd was moshing. It’s something I’ve always wanted to see at a bonus party gig, and when it happened, I was touched. For those of you that don’t know what a circle of death is, it’s when a gap forms in the middle of a tightly packed frenzied crowd, and a few maniacs take turns running into the gap, hitting off each other, and acting like wild animals in general. When I was 16 I got concussion in one.
In other news, we’re delighted to announce that in the midst of all the writing and recording, we will be playing a handful of gigs over the summer:
10th July – Club NME at the Button Factory with Cadence Weapon
1st August – Mantua Festival, Co Roscommon
30th August – Electric Picnic, at 1pm on the Electric Arena stage
Hope you can all come along! See you soon,
Super Extra Bonus Party
PS: Some members of the band will be doing solo dj sets around the place to fund their fabergé egg addictions or whateva. ch check it.
Story peoples? Been pretty lazy in terms of communication and that with the rest of the world lately. Plenty has been going on, as you’ll see below.
First off, we had a pair of gigs in London a couple of weekends ago. The first night was in west London, on Shepherd’s Bush green to be precise. Or rather in the toilets:
The Boners will be wrecking the gaff in Whelans on April 12th as part of Bud Rising. Ten euro blips in, tickets available from tickets.ie. If you were at the gig there recently, we’d very much like to see you again, so come down and go nuts!
Also, we are playing our first gigs out of Ireland next week! Wowzas! We’re in London on Friday 4th/5th April for gigs in Ginglik, Shepherd’s Bush and Hope & Anchor in Islington. On May 17th we hit warmer climes for a gig in Razzmattazz in Barcelona. We can’t wait to get this Bonus Party Juggernaut further into Europe!
